Privacy: what this site does and does not collect

The short version

No advertising trackers. No third-party fonts. One analytics script: Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies. This site has no accounts, no login and no newsletter, so there is no site account to create. Analytics identifiers and visit records are still collected as explained below.

The interactive tools run entirely inside your browser. What you type into them is never sent anywhere.

What we do not collect#

To be specific rather than vague, this site does not:

set cookies for account login or advertising; Google Analytics sets first-party analytics cookies on this site, as described below;
run any analytics product other than Google Analytics, or connect analytics to advertising;
load advertising or retargeting pixels;
embed social media widgets, comment systems or chat boxes;
load web fonts or stylesheets from a third-party server, or any script other than the Google Analytics tag;
ask for your name, email address or phone number anywhere.

Analytics: Google Analytics#

Since September 2026 every page loads Google Analytics. It sets analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) and sends Google the page you viewed, where you came from, your approximate region, device and browser type, and your IP address. Google processes that under its own privacy policy.

We use it only for aggregate numbers: which guides get read and where readers come from. We cannot see your name, email or exchange account, and we have not connected it to any advertising feature. To opt out, use a browser content blocker to stop Google Analytics scripts or requests, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on in a supported browser. Blocking only third-party cookies does not necessarily stop these first-party analytics cookies. Clearing cookies also does not prevent future collection. The articles do not depend on analytics.

You can verify this yourself

Open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab and reload any page here. Every request should go to buyledge.com, except the Google Analytics requests to Google’s servers. In the Application or Storage tab, the only cookies you should find are Google Analytics ones.

This is worth doing on any site that makes a privacy claim, including this one.

What stays in your browser#

Some pages remember things between visits. All of it is stored by your own browser using localStorage, and none of it reaches us.

Clearing your browsing data removes all of it. Switching browser or device means starting fresh, because there is no account syncing anything.

What the server sees#

We should be straight about this rather than claiming a perfect zero. Serving a web page inherently involves your browser talking to a server, and like essentially every web server, ours processes standard request information: the address requested, the time, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string.

This is what makes it possible to send you the page at all. We do not build profiles from it, do not link it to anything else, and do not share it. Server logs are not fed into Google Analytics; that tool collects its own data in your browser, as described above.

The site sits behind Cloudflare, which handles the connection and provides DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes connection data as part of doing that. It is a large infrastructure provider with its own published privacy terms, and it processes connection requests independently of the Google Analytics requests described above.

Third parties#

There are three ways a third party enters the picture:

Cloudflare, as described above
It sits in front of the site and sees connections. It does not receive anything you type into the tools, because nothing you type is ever transmitted.
Google, through Google Analytics
As described above, it receives visit data from your browser on every page. It does not receive anything you type into the tools.
The exchange, but only if you click through
The registration link on the account-opening guide takes you to Binance. From the moment you land there you are on their site and their privacy terms apply, not ours. If you never click it, no exchange ever learns you were here.

What the exchange knows that we do not#

This is the part people most often get backwards, so it is worth stating plainly.

If you open an account through our referral link, the exchange knows that an account was referred by our code. What flows back to us is commission figures — not identities. We do not receive your name, email address, phone number, balance, trading history or identity documents, and we have no way to look up your account.

Conversely, the exchange itself will require full identity verification. That is a legal requirement they operate under, it is unrelated to us, and it applies whether you arrived through a referral link or typed the address yourself. Our registration guide explains what they ask for and why.

Your choices#

Having no user accounts does not mean there is no visitor data. Analytics identifiers, visit records and server logs can still relate to a browser or visitor. You can contact us below to request access, correction or deletion; we will explain which records we can locate and handle using information we can verify. Clearing browser cookies does not delete data already collected by analytics.

Concretely, that means:

To remove everything this site has put on your device: clear your browser data for buyledge.com, including the Google Analytics cookies. That is all of it.
To read the site without any exchange learning you were here: simply do not use the registration link.

If you email us, we obviously then have your email address, because that is how email works. We use it to reply and nothing else, and we do not add it to any list.

Never send us these

Do not email us passwords, verification codes, seed phrases, or photographs of identity documents. We will never ask for any of them, and there is no situation in which we need them to help you.
